JAMES MEYER
WRITER/DIRECTOR
James Meyer began his career as an Art Director in advertising, creating TV commercials for clients such as McDonald’s, Kellogg’s, and Heinz, (Leo Burnett) as well as Wendy’s (Bates Worldwide). Since 1991, he has traveled extensively producing documentaries, promotional videos and award-winning films in over 76 countries. Writing and directing The Kingdom (2017) in the vineyards of Kosovo and The Traveler (2019) in the stunning Pamir mountains of Tajikistan have been career highlights.
SARA MEYER
PRODUCER
Sara Meyer began her career as a dancer, singer, actress in musical theatre in Chicago and across the U.S, performing in shows such the Broadway hit 42nd Street. Turning from the stage to on-camera, she acted in television commercials and industrial films. After an unforgettable trip to the Philippines in the late 1980's, she and her husband James Meyer began making documentary films in Asia, Africa and India, relocating to Singapore and traveling to more than 75 countries. In 2006, they founded an international production company in Germany that specializes in producing positive, uplifting films.
RYAN LEE TAYLOR

Raised abroad and interacting with multiple cultures from a young age, Ryan Lee Taylor’s unique life experience has enabled him as a natural-born storyteller. After a lifetime of passionate study and practice, including over three years at the Colorado Film School, Ryan’s passion for powerful and provocative film manifests today in his work as a Writer/Director with Lava Lamp Films, helping them develop short and feature length films aimed at affecting positive change in worldwide issues.
BRIAN KELLEY

Brian previously worked in music and TV production before starting an international company in 1990 to distribute films and TV programming. More recently, Brian has returned to production work and currently serves as a producer for film projects in the US, Kenya, Mexico and France with TV production in India, Germany, and Norway.
IONUT IONESCU
Passionate about utilizing the power of film to elevate significant narratives, Ionut has produced the most-viewed segments about Romania broadcast by the Discovery Network, Travel Channel, National Geographic, and Animal Planet. His track record includes being a producer of three internationally awarded feature films, Thou Shalt Not Kill (“Sa nu ucizi”) (2018), directed by Catalin Rotaru and Gabi Sarga, as well as Tortured for Christ (2018) and Sabina (2021), both directed by John Grooters. Ionut is co-founder of Idea Film.
ANDREI MARINESCU
With more than 25 years of experience in TV and Movie production, Andrei has amassed over 30 feature films and TV shows as a producer or location manager. In 2005 Andrei with his partner Ionut founded Idea Film and have enjoyed working on everything from concept development to final production.
MATTHEW HELDERMAN
Matthew Helderman is the CEO and co-founder of BondIt Media Capital and Buffalo 8. Helderman founded Buffalo 8 in 2010. Buffalo 8 has since premiered projects at Sundance, SXSW, and Berlin, as well as producing the Netflix original film “Rodney King” directed by Spike Lee. In 2013, he co-founded BondIt Media Capital and has led BondIt in the deployment of over $210M of capital in over 380+ film, television, and media opportunities, while raising $30M of equity and debt for a partial sale to Accord Financial (TSX: ACD) in addition to expanding the company’s credit facility to $75M in 2020.

ADAM HARRIS ENGLEHARD
Adam Harris Engelhard is a film producer & former literary manager with over 10 years of industry experience. Starting his career at ICM Partners, Adam worked in the MP Talent department where he cut his teeth in film packaging. From there he worked for Academy Award winning producer Dan Jinks at CBS Studios. In 2016 Adam founded Mailroom Entertainment where he managed a roster of 15 budding writers and directors. He graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration.
LUKE MORTON
Besides looking like Andrew Garfield and being a handsome dude, Luke assists within the B8 Services division, generating client materials and working with producers + creatives on a personal level. He graduated from Chapman University, earning a dual-BFA in Advertising and Screenwriting — and interned for Buffalo 8 / BondIt Media Capital prior to joining the team. Luke believes in subjecting every project to the highest standard of quality, served with a little Southern Hospitality.
